Photon
Micro-Light®
II! This is what you've been waiting
for! New features include:
On/off switch--The most obvious of the new features.
Case--The new case is made of glass-filled polyurethane making the
Photon II more durable than ever.
Screws--The Photon II uses four high quality "0" (Aught) screws to
hold the case together. This makes it much easier to replace the battery.
Brighter light--The red and yellow use new, brighter LED's (The Photon
I now uses these brighter LED's also). The blue is three times brighter
than the previous blue. The green is a hot narrow beam. The white
is the first solid-state white in the world.
Shines an astonishingly bright beam illuminating any
path.
Hides under a quarter and is the same weight, a mere 5
1/2 grams.
Gold Plated Leads!
Gold plating in the blue, white, turquoise, and green LED leads
improves the electrical contact with the battery and also protects the Photon
light from corrosion.
Visible for more than a mile!
NASA Approved! Photon lights are currently
being used on board the MIR space station.
Used alone or easily attaches to key ring or
zipper.
Guaranteed for life.
Makes it possible to always have light.
Minimum of two years use on the original replaceable Eveready
lithium battery.
Red
Light. This intense color
is favored by pilots, sailors, and fishermen for the excellent ability to
preserve night vision and also for uses of safety, signaling, and map reading.
Ideal for finding your seat and reading programs in theaters. The wide angle
beam is now changing to more focused in 1998. All colors of light are
great for the night stand, glove box, zipper, key ring, purse, or fanny pack.
Red is an internationally recognized
attention color.
Orange Light. This
one is bright! The orange combines some of the aspects of both the
red and the yellow. It doesn't disturb your night vision as much as
the yellow, and illuminates things better than the red. Great for
signaling.
Yellow Light. A
traditional flashlight type beam at a lower cost. Will easily project
20 to 30 feet onto an area you desire to see. For finding your way down a
dark outdoor path the yellow light is the best choice. Being so incredibly
small it is easy to carry several colors.
Blue Light. Blue
and turquoise are the brightest of the Photon lights. The blue is
tremendously bright and excellent for walking around trail or no trail.
Wide angle illuminates everything to the side as well as forward. The
blue, turquoise, and white lights use two replaceable half-size batteries
to boost light output. Because these lights use smaller batteries, the battery
life is decreased to around 12-14 hours--still much longer than a regular
flashlight.
Turquoise
Light. This is my personal favorite. The turquoise
is slightly brighter than the blue. It is great for walking around
at night. Wide angle beam lights up the whole room.
Green Light. Green
is the longest lasting for battery efficiency. It will shine bright
for 7 days continuously. That's about 200 hours of use from one battery!
White Light. White
is the best for all around use as everything you look at is viewed at as
true color. Wide angle beam is good for peripheral viewing. At
last a white light that won't burn out!
Infrared Light. Used
by members of the Secret Service, this Photon light creates a powerful infrared
beam invisible to the naked eye. When used in conjunction with night
vision equipment, it will illuminate a large
area.
Options of Key style or Lanyard. Key style
pictured above. Lanyard style pictured to the right (clip attached by a flexible
black 2 1/4" long cord) allows for increased flexibility of use. The small
nickel plated clip is secure and will hold tightly to anything it is attached
to without damage. Easily worn on the collar or belt loop. Many women clip
it to their purse strap, key ring, or clothing.

Battery Replacement
To Replace Battery of Photon
Micro-Light®II:
Green, Red, & Yellow:
We recommend the Eveready
CR-2032:
Remove four screws from bottom of the Photon with "0" size Phillips-head
screwdriver. Flip case over so switch is on top.
Carefully separate top and bottom case.
Remove clear slide switch.
Hold bulb down with one finger and lift lead (wire) just enough to remove
batteries.
Install new batteries.
Replace slide switch on slightly raised lead.
Position top case so slide switch extends through hole and close case.
Flip over and replace screws.
Important! Do NOT change bulb leads except for raising
enough to replace batteries.
White & Blue:
We recommend the Eveready
CR-2016:
To Replace Battery of Photon
Micro-Light®:
When you need a replacement battery, we recommend the Eveready CR-2032.
To replace, simply use a nail file or small screwdriver and carefully wedge
open the groove at the ring end of the light to open case.
